Green River College is a 2-year public college in Washington State that offers more than 75 different degrees and certificates in academic and technical programs. The campus is located on 186 acres of tall trees in a park-like setting and is known for its safe, friendly and peaceful study environment.

Seattle is about 45 minutes north of Green River. This major international city is home to Microsoft, Boeing, Amazon.com, and Starbucks Coffee. A trip to Seattle is included in the new student orientation each quarter.

University Transfer Pathway

Students take the first two years of their bachelor's degree at Green River. With their advisor, students develop an Individual Transfer Plan with general education and introductory classes in their major. In their first quarter of academic study, students take a required International Student College Experience course to prepare for success. 

The University Transfer Pathway program allows applicants conditional acceptance to a U.S. university listed on greenriver.edu/international.
